LinkedIn ICP DM campaign — message qualified connections in batches of 10

The outreach step that turns your existing network into an active pipeline. The agent opens linkedin.com/mynetwork/invite-connect/connections/ and reads ten profiles at a time, identifying ICPs by the headline just below their name — solo founders, entrepreneurs, startup builders, indie hackers, anyone semi-technical who is too busy to scale their business. For each ICP, it opens the message dialog and checks your history: if you’ve sent a similar offer before, it closes the dialog and moves on. If this is a first contact, it fills in a personalized note using their first name and clicks the Send button in the bottom right of the dialog. After each send it closes the window and moves to the next ICP. After 10 profiles, it scrolls to the next batch.

How it works on Open Hive

  1. 01

    Open linkedin.com/mynetwork/invite-connect/connections/

The agent reads the first 10 profile headlines and flags: “founder”, “building”, “bootstrapped”, “indie hacker”, “startup”, “entrepreneur”.

  2. 02

Message each ICP, skip the rest

For each ICP: opens the message dialog, checks history. If already messaged, closes the dialog. If new, fills in the first name, clicks the Send button in the bottom right, and closes.

  3. 03

    Close, scroll, and repeat

After each send, the window closes and the agent moves to the next ICP in the batch. After 10 profiles, it scrolls down for the next batch and continues.

Frequently asked questions

What headlines flag someone as an ICP?

“Solo founder”, “founder”, “co-founder”, “building”, “bootstrapped”, “indie hacker”, “startup”, “entrepreneur”, “solopreneur”. The target is someone semi-technical who is too busy to scale. Add your own keywords in settings.

How does it avoid re-messaging someone?

Before sending, it checks your LinkedIn inbox for an existing thread with that person. If a similar offer exists, it closes the dialog and moves on. Semantic matching — not exact text — so a reworded message still counts.

Can I customize the message?

Yes. The default is two paragraphs: your product intro with a URL, then the value prop and a call for feedback. Edit both in settings; the agent inserts the first name automatically.
